Description SUMMARY Responsible for pickup and delivery of orders and materials from vendors and customers in a timely and safe manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for transporting company and customer goods safely Coordinate with operations to schedule daily deliveries and pickups. Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers. The driver is the main contact with our customers and must provide a competent representation of the company. Remain flexible to restructure schedule as needed. Drive vehicle to and from destinations, adhering to all traffic laws. Load and unload delivery goods. Maintain vehicle in good working condition. Maintain vehicle in clean and fueled readiness condition. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and/or work experience required. 2 Years of Experience with delivery KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY Possess a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle record. Ability to use an electronic tablet to view pick-up and delivery routes, electronic packing slips, and company ERP system. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws. Ability to be on call 24/7 for rush/emergency pickups and deliveries. Able to read a map/use a GPS. Requires knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation. Ability to follow both oral and written policies, procedures, and instructions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities

Essential duties also involve safely transporting goods, loading/unloading items, and maintaining the assigned vehicle in good working and clean condition.
