Description
Job Description Transport goods between different locations using an Ironmark owned delivery truck or van. Loading and unloading of products at various client sites is required. Delivery locations are in the DMV area, therefore, should be familiar with driving routes in and between cities (Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Annapolis). Must abide by driving laws. Ensure safe and accurate delivery and unloading at client destinations.  Communication with the Shipping Manager and compliance with Ironmark Delivery Driver Schedule and Responsibilities required.  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.   Essential Functions and Responsibilities * Transport goods using Ironmark-owned delivery truck or van * Load and unload product, ensuring accuracy of load-in and accuracy of delivery * Communicate and coordinate with Shipping Manager * Follow established Driver Schedule and Responsibilities  * Daily maintain log book, keeping it up-to-date at all times * Completely unload delivery truck or van at completion of day/delivery runs. * Return Business Gas Credit Cards to Lock Box at the end of each day. * Represent Ironmark with the highest level of professionalism, following Ironmark’s Employee Code of Conduct.   Required qualifications * Must Pass DOT Physical and Substance Test * Must have a Clean Driving Record: * No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. * No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. * No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. * No preventable DOT recordable accidents* (collisions resulting in disabling damage and/or immediate medical treatment away from the scene) while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last ten (10) years. * No preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury in driving history (commercial motor vehicle). * Preferred Qualification: DOT Card    Essential knowledge, skills, and abilities * Knowledge of driving laws and regulations * Able to work in all weather conditions. * Able to maneuver vehicle into tight delivery spots. * Excellent attention to detail * Strong Interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. * Able to work within a team. * Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills. * Able to meet strict deadlines. * Able to work calmly under pressure.   Physical Requirements   * Able to lift up to 50 pounds and transport products for delivery. * Able to verbally communicate clearly in a way as to be easily understood. * Visual acuity, able to see 20/20 (with corrective lenses if needed.) * Good hearing, able to hear sirens, horns and auditory signals on the road. * Able to sit for long periods of time * Stamina to remain alert and focused for extended periods of driving * Quick reflexes and reaction times   About Ironmark   Ironmark, an Image Company founded in 1955, is in business to provide our clients and customers with a rock-solid partnership that leads to creative, effective results. We’re nimble, fast, and focused because we know that our customers want and deserve just one thing: great results.   We are committed to staying on the leading edge of our changing industry and solidifying our position as the Mid-Atlantic’s first choice for integrated print production, marketing, and communication services. www.ironmarkusa.com [http://www.ironmarkusa.com/]   EEO Statement: Ironmark provides equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
