We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver/Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate needs to be hard working, a good communicator, ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise own workload, long hours/evening work required, be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires excellent time management skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) when loading and unloading cargo.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Safely operate a vehicle to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring that items are secured properly during transport.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
