Qualifications

• High school diploma or relevant experienceDZ or AR License with a clean driver’s
• abstract; able to comfortably drive vehicles within the license class
• 0-1 year experience driving vehicles within a license-class held
• Good verbal communication skills and able to work with others
• Must be able to safely lift 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety and willing to receive applicable health and safety training as perlegislative and job requirements
• Must be able to work in restricted and tight spaces and at heights

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the vehicles and its actions; responsible for identifying weight as to not exceed vehicle requirements
• Load and unload heavy equipment in a secure and damage free manner
• Transport cargo and/or equipment utilizing various combinations of truck and trailer
• Use various types of equipment to move and install material
• General site preparation and clean-up as directed
• Complete the Driver’s daily pre-trip, en-route and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Complete the Driver’s log book, accident or incident reports
• Maintaining a clean and orderly vehicle (interior and exterior)
• Digging/holes and trenches, pulling cable
• Operating tools and equipment
• General site preparation and clean-up as directed
• Handles and distributes construction materials, as well as safely loading and unloading vehicles with supplies andequipment as directed
• Responsible for the removal of all debris from work sites
• Able to run rubber tracked excavator or skid steer on an occasional basis only
• Other duties as required

Physical Demands
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the positions work tasks. These include but are not limited to working outdoors and in confined spaces, movement of equipment and/or materials, frequent climbing of ladders, frequent lifting and pulling of telecommunication cable in excess of 15 lbs. Attention to detail required. Will be required to stand for extended periods of time. All employees will be required to receive applicable health and safety training on an ongoing basis as per legislative and job requirements.

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
