• Attitude: You must be a reliable, punctual, and helpful team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Transport: It would be an advantage to have your own transport to travel to our various sites.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a reliable and practical individual to join our friendly team at Blue Ladder Building in a dual-role capacity as a Driver and Labourer. This position is fundamental to our daily operations, ensuring our construction sites are well-stocked and supported.
This is a hybrid role with your time expected to be split equally, 50/50, between driving and labouring. A key part of your role will be the timely and safe delivery of tools, materials, and equipment to our various project sites. When not undertaking driving duties, you will be based on-site, working alongside our skilled tradespeople as a hands-on labourer.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the entire construction process – from groundworks to final finishes – while playing a crucial part in the logistics that keep our projects moving.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Driving (50%): Safely driving the company van to deliver necessary tools, materials, and equipment to our various construction sites. This includes planning routes, loading the van securely, and ensuring timely arrivals to keep projects on schedule.
• Labouring (50%): Assisting our skilled tradespeople with a wide variety of tasks when not driving. This includes:
• Preparing and clearing sites, including groundworks and digging.
• Moving and loading materials and equipment on-site.
• Assisting with basic carpentry, decorating, and other construction tasks.
• Ensuring sites are kept clean, tidy, and safe.
