JOB TITLE: CDL DRIVER Location: Pompano, FL Reports To: Warehouse Manager Employment Type: Full-Time POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to join our team. The CDL Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a timely, efficient, and safe manner while adhering to all federal, state, and company regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. * Safely load, secure, and unload cargo according to established procedures. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance. * Maintain accurate logs of working hours, mileage, and deliveries using electronic logging devices (ELDs). * Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays. * Adhere to all traffic laws and safety standards while on the road. * Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to management. QUALIFICATIONS * Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record. * Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred. * Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance. * Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed. * Strong time management and organizational skills. * Excellent communication and customer service abilities. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to sit for extended periods while driving. * Capability to perform manual labor, including loading and unloading cargo.
