Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including delivery trucks, forklifts.
- Load and unload materials or products onto the vehicle.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery and pick up of goods.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts or logbooks, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, donors, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Warehouse duties as time allows following daily pick ups and deliveries
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driver or forklift is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to meet pick up and delivery schedules.
- Physical stamina to load and unload heavy materials or products.
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively.
