The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our transportation operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of goods or transportation of personnel throughout the city and surrounding areas. Operate light vehicles to transport goods or personnel to designated locations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Plan and follow efficient routes, utilizing GPS navigation systems when necessary Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and transportation regulations while driving Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly Assist in basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed Ensure the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times Qualifications Valid light vehicle driving license with a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a professional driver or in a similar role preferred Thorough knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and Dubai's road network Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and route planning tools Strong time management and organizational skills Excellent communication abilities in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus Physical capability to handle the demands of the job, including potential lifting and long hours of sitting Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge Familiarity with Dubai's traffic patterns and ability to navigate efficiently in various conditions Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records and logs Business Line: Consulting and Operations Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: OnM Operations Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Services and Operations Profession: Infrastructure Maintenance
