Little Fish is looking for a driver to join our exciting venture. We are looking for a part-time driver to assist us across our core delivery hours.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work for an innovative start-up whose mission is to bring exceptional sushi and pan-Asian cuisine to food lovers rural communities. While much of the role will be driving, we seek candidates who are willing to get involved in other areas of the business too, particularly when it comes to our front of house organisation.
Our kitchen and menu are run by Michelin-trained, multi-award winning Head Chef and Co-Founder, Neil Witney. Neil has set up and run some of the UK’s most successful pan-Asian restaurants.
We are currently looking for a delivery driver to help distribute our food to customers in the local area around our kitchen in Liphook. We want to make delivery a part of the brand so want to hire great people to drive our lovely pink vans! The role will involve some customer interaction.

Responsibilities and Duties
This will be a varied role and we are looking for people who are willing to be flexible and get involved in different areas of the business. As a start-up, we value attitude above all else.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Driving our delivery vans to deliver directly to customers and local partners within a defined radius of our central kitchen in Liphook
  • Efficiently packing and loading food orders from the kitchen into the vans
  • Being the face of Little Fish to customers ordering for delivery
  • Using our software to accurately provide our food to customers and communicate with the kitchen to ensure seamless service
  • Ensuring that the van and working areas are maintained to a high standard as a reflection of the brand
  • Involvement in the organisation of the front of house function of the kitchen - packing orders etc.

Qualifications and Skills
The right attitude is what we value most. No formal experience is required, and full training will be provided though proficiency and confidence in driving will be important.

Some skills would be a benefit but not required:

  • Previous sales/customer service experience
  • Sound knowledge of food safety regulations

Required attributes are:

  • You will need a clean UK driving license, ideally held for some time
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Time management and organisational skills

Location and Hours
Our kitchen is in Liphook, Hampshire. While shifts will mainly start and end at this location, the ‘Sushi Van’ will deliver to various locations in the local area.
Our core delivery hours for customers are Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 20:00.
Please note that as a start-up, we may need to review these as we learn.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50 per hour
