HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY 40 HOURS + OVERTIME WHEN REQUIRED.

Warwick Development (North West) Ltd was established in 1998 and has since then positioned itself as Liverpool’s premier trade frame supplier of uPVC windows and doors including bi fold doors.
Based in Bootle, Liverpool, Warwick supply trade frame windows, doors, bi-fold doors and conservatories to trade installers across Merseyside, Wirral and North Wales.
We are looking for an experienced Driver / Loader to work in our transport and distribution department. You will already have completed CPC training and hold driver cards and driving licence.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

This is a key role customer focused position for the business and its continued growth, and it requires the driver to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail an HSE.
You must be deeply familiar with the area’s nuances, such as back roads and traffic patterns. We provide the van, but you should have a clean driving record and driving licence. The Driver must be able to lift packages up to 70 pounds and bend and twist as necessary. Drivers will generally work core hours, but occasional extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially around holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· Experienced Driver / Loader to work in our transport and distribution department.
· Must have completed CPC training & hold driver cards and clean driving licence.
· Valid Category C Driving Licence
· Minimum of one year driving experience within 100-mile radius of business area
· Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
· Strength to lift up to 40 pounds plus bending and twisting
· Work well independently
· Open and transparent communication
· Interested in candidates who are immediately available and have window manufacturing experience or similar background.

Responsibilities will include maintaining daily order check list, delivering to customers business sites, lifting, and handling glass units and UPVC and aluminium window and door frames, bi-folding doors and loading vehicles,
· Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to customers on time
· Interact with customers in a professional manner
· loading and unloading lorries and providing exceptional customer service to our client base
· Work occasional evenings and weekends
· Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery van and notify manager of any issues
· Drive in inclement weather, such as light snow
· Maintain ongoing communication with your Line Manager
· Maintain logs to track routes and deliveries
