EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of transportation experience.
  • Experience in customer service or a call center is preferred.
  • Experience in Transportation Management System (TMS) software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ideal candidates will have experience in customer service, transportation, or call center settings, and thrive in team-oriented roles that involve problem-solving, time management, and building strong working relationships. This is a high-responsibility role that directly impacts driver satisfaction and overall operational success.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for a group of drivers, providing daily support and guidance.
  • Track driver schedules, deliveries, and overall performance to ensure company standards are met.
  • Offer regular coaching and feedback to promote safe, efficient, and compliant driving.
  • Coordinate driver home time, time off, and schedules to balance business needs and driver satisfaction.
  • Keep accurate records and update driver information in the system regularly.
  • Partner with dispatch, planning, and maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Monitor shipments and resolve issues quickly to avoid delivery delays.
  • Ensure drivers complete paperwork correctly and follow company systems and processes.
  • Oversee compliance with safety policies and legal requirements, including license and maintenance updates.
  • Foster a positive driver experience with strong communication, recognition, and regular check-ins
