JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mover/Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling the transportation and delivery of goods. This position requires strong driving skills, the ability to lift heavy items, and experience in warehouse operations. As a Mover/Driver, you will ensure that all items are loaded, transported, and unloaded safely and efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 75 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
• Experience with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of operating forklifts and pallet jacks is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 3 – 40 per week

• Operate box trucks and other vehicles for transporting goods to various locations.
• Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ensure the safe handling of items during loading, transit, and unloading.
• Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during pickups and deliveries.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management and organization.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of items, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
