Description Summary: This position is responsible for delivery of products to scheduled job sites in a timely manner. Customer service with customers is essential in this position when delivering material to job sites and customer offices. Safely driving within the DOT guidelines. We are looking for either a full-time or part-time driver. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Driving to deliver material to job sites. Loading and unloading material. Maintains truck and performs daily pre-trip inspections. Process paperwork such as tickets, bills of lading, etc. Make sure the customer signs the receipt of material and collect on COD charges. Assist with production in plant when driving is not needed Requirements Qualifications: One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck or tractor trailer within the last five years, required. Valid driver’s license to be maintained at all times in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations, required. Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT medical card, required. As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.
