We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves transporting oversized and non-standard loads, requiring strong driving skills and adaptability. Primary Role Expectations: The requirements listed in this job description are representative of the essential duties, responsibilities, knowledge, skills and/or abilities as well as the environmental and physical demands an individual must meet to successfully perform this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. · Responsible for delivering material to customer locations/jobsites using the most efficient route available. · Ensure that delivery schedules are met while providing a friendly and professional service. · Assist with loading/unloading of materials. · Maintain driver logs for miles per week. · Comply with All Federal and State DOT highway rules and regulations. · Ensure safe operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements. · Determine the condition of the vehicle by inspecting the vehicle before and after use. Log the inspection and report any defect issues to the Logistics Manager immediately. · May be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: · High School Diploma or equivalent · Familiar with Federal and State DOT highway rules and regulations · Agree to random testing by the DOT for screening · Strong ability to work effectively with diverse individuals from management to floor employees. Valid CDL-A License Ability to operate a manual transmission tractor-trailer Minimum of 3 years driving experience with a clean driving record Comfortable hauling oversized / irregular loads Appropriate language, reasoning, and mathematical skills Willingness and ability to learn mobile technology and software (cell phone apps, etc.) Ability to handle changing conditions and problem-solve on the job Physical Requirements: The requirements listed in this job description are representative of the essential duties, responsibilities, knowledge, skills and/or abilities as well as the environmental and physical demands an individual must meet to successfully perform this job.
