JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as a driver/packer of newspapers and parcels. This position requires the ability to handle the packing and delivery of newspapers and parcels efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining a clean driving record.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in delivery or courier service is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy bundles of newspapers or parcels, especially during early morning hours or in challenging weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of managing delivery routes or the ability to follow instructions to ensure newspapers and parcels are delivered correctly on time.
• Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred but not essential - Full training provided.
• Strong attention to detail in ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.

Work Location: In perso

• Packing of newspapers/parcels and ensuring proper sorting for delivery.
• Load and unload items from vans ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Drive the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently to designated locations.
• Perform quality control checks on packed items to ensure they meet company standards.
• Assist in picking and packing orders as required, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Conduct heavy lifting as necessary, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised and efficient warehouse environment.
• Perform vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is well-maintained.
