Driver Palmetto State Glass is looking for a company driver to join our growing team! Responsibilities of our company driver include: Operate vehicles and transport for the Company Follow and promote safe work practices Maintain a valid driving record Follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations Coordinate daily with Fabrication Manager/Superintendent Follow prearranged routes to destinations or use maps and GPS to navigate routes Must maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness Work to promote and cultivate a positive culture among PSG employees Duties and responsibilities Must be able to safely haul a trailer Practice safe driving habits Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions Deliver materials to job sites or other locations as instructed Load and unload trailers as needed Keep interior and exterior of vehicles clean and free of clutter Maintain vehicle and trailer equipment Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion Handle all customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly and informative manner Collect any documents when necessary Complete necessary paperwork and reports Sign off on every delivery made and return load list/delivery list to the appropriate person. File a copy of the delivery/load list. Create a load list if one is not available to be signed and returned. Daily log of deliveries made with photos of the delivery and signed load list.

Responsibilities

The driver is responsible for transporting materials to job sites while adhering to all safety regulations and driving laws. Additional duties include maintaining vehicle cleanliness, managing delivery paperwork, and providing professional customer service.
