Description Part-Time Driver Buda, TX Description SUMMARY: America's Auto Auction is looking to add more drivers to our team! If you love getting to drive and know a variety of vehicles, this is the position for you, you will get to experience driving something new every day! Drivers are responsible for pick-up and delivery of vehicles from various dealerships, repo yards, rental/leasing companies, banks, utility companies, government yards and various mechanic/body shops. This is a part-time position with 8 hour shifts, must be available Monday-Thursday. Responsibilities: Ensure vehicles are safe for operation. Certify all fluid levels except for gas are checked and full prior to driving any vehicle. Notify Chase Van Driver/Ambassador of all fluids used to ensure completion of necessary paperwork. Make sure gas is only filled to the desired level as needed for the length of the trip. Do not operate vehicles ‘hot’. Pull over if vehicle runs hot, and follow all over standard vehicle delivery procedures. Become familiar with routes and follow drivers in a pack. Never fall behind pack. Verify that vehicle is delivered to dealer as desired. Ensure car is parked at dealer’s location where wanted, with windows up if requested and keys are in safe and secure place. Double check cars are parked in proper location based on run number in windshield on sale day. Requirements Requirements/Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Previous driving or courier experience preferred. Highly organized, self-motivated and self-disciplined. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Environment: The environment of the Driver involves the transportation of vehicles to and from the auction.
