Requirements Summary: Drives key personnel at assigned destinations for defined periods of time. May deliver items as necessary to facilities. Qualifications: Education: ? High School Diploma or GED Certified Nurse Aide preferred Licenses/Certification: ? Valid Driver’s License Experience: ? 10 years’ experience in driving a vehicle preferred, 3 years minimum No significant negative driving violations on driving record. Must be at least 21 years of age Essential Functions: ? Drives key personnel to designations in a safe manner. Makes deliveries as assigned. Maintains details driving log that includes hours driven, destination, key staff, miles and any problems or concerns that are present. May include periods of down time in waiting for the return trip. Maintains vehicles in a clean and orderly condition and informs supervisor of any mechanical problems that may exist Performs other tasks as assigned. Certified Nurse Aide preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Good communication skills, both verbal and written. ? Ability to maintain confidentiality. ? Able to speak and read English (added because it is in the education)
Responsibilities
The driver is responsible for safely transporting key personnel to assigned destinations and making deliveries as needed. They must also maintain accurate driving logs and ensure the vehicle is kept in clean and orderly condition.
