Job Title: Per-Diem Van Driver Location: New Windsor, NY Pay Rate: $17.50/hr. Flexible per-diem schedule with typical hours between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Position Overview The primary duty entails conveying people on van, or other light vehicle between locations. The driver is expected to greet customers, help them enter the bus or vehicle, and assist them with any special needs Key Responsibilities: The shuttle driver’s role also involves keeping the bus neat and making sure it is always in working condition. Entails checking the car before and after each day’s run and noting and issues. Expected to be an expert driver and must comply with all necessary instructions guiding the operation of the vehicle within the area. The driver is also expected to possess exceptional customer service skills to be able to relate effectively passengers. The very nature of the job requires meeting different kinds of people. So, the driver is expected to be friendly but professional in relating with passengers. Responsibilities
