Job Description Summary: The purpose is support the department’s ability to achieve its goals and objectives. This includes safely and efficiently performing all driving activities, including the loading and unloading of materials. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Essential Duties: The following are the normal duties performed by this position. Other duties may be assigned. Drive company vehicles to regional locations as needed. Ensure materials are properly prepared for shipment, assist packaging, labels, etc. Perform some receiving tasks for products on truck if after hours. Other duties include but not limited to; cycle count/packaging Assist coordination and maintain material storage areas on down time. Perform data collection and communication tasks in JobBoss and other applications as applicable. Utilize powered industrial trucks to move material or load/unload vehicles. Maintain work station to 5S standards. Perform all work according to PAC safety standards. Comply with all PAC policy and procedures. Physical Conditions: Meet Michigan Operator License physical standards. Lift, push and/or pull 50 pounds. Drive common delivery vehicles for extended periods of time. Drive powered industrial trucks. Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending and grasping in order to package/unpackage parts, move and set tools, equipment and material. Qualifications Suggested Qualifications: 3 years of successful essential duty related experience. Proven ability in processing details and managing multiple priorities. Proven ability to safely and efficiently operate machinery including forklift and cranes. Ability to use common measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic Windows and MS Office skills. Ability to perform basic math functions. Unrestricted driver’s license Eligible for Powered Industrial Truck Permit.
