Description Our Roastery Drivers work as a part of the production team at their respective roastery. Drivers are responsible for following routes to fulfill our local delivery schedule and occasionally our wholesale partners. The main responsibility of our Drivers is to ensure timely delivery of all products from our New Orleans roastery as well as the commissary. They are also tasked with assisting our roastery production team between routes with packaging, bagging and labeling all coffee and tea to production standards. Essential Job Functions Ensure timely delivery of all products from the roastery and commissary throughout the week Maintain upkeep of the delivery vehicles including cleanliness inside the vehicles and routine maintenance Help to establish and follow routes designated for efficiency of product delivery Bag, seal, and label roasted coffee and tea accurately Assist with packing out orders, making shipping labels, and sending orders out upon completion Receiving and storing all roastery related orders as they are delivered to the roastery when able Follow the daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules Other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements Prior experience in a delivery or commercial delivery setting preferred Must have a valid driver’s license and submit to a background check Must have a clean driving record Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Must possess a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with a hands-on, cooperative approach in a team environment Strong organizational skills and accountability in completing all tasks in a thorough, accurate and timely manner Working Conditions & Physical Demands Able to lift up to 75 pounds Able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time frequently

Responsibilities

The driver is responsible for timely product deliveries from the roastery and commissary while maintaining delivery vehicles. Additionally, they assist the production team with packaging, labeling, and organizing roasted coffee and tea products.
