POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a Driver Safety and Compliance Specialist who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining the highest standards in safety and regulatory compliance. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in enforcing safety protocols, ensuring regulatory adherence, and supporting driver operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in DOT regulations, vehicle safety, and driver training.

• Enforce Safety Policies: Ensure driver safety policies and operating procedures are adhered to across all designated zTrip markets.
• Conduct Inspections & Audits: Perform regular vehicle inspections, safety audits, and compliance reviews to guarantee operational safety standards are met.
• Maintain Compliance Records: Keep up-to-date records of driver certifications, background checks, drug screenings, and training completions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate Incidents: Investigate vehicle incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and work with management to implement corrective action plans.
• Stay Informed on Regulations: Keep current with local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulations to ensure zTrip’s operations remain compliant.
• Partner with Operations: Collaborate with local operations teams to ensure consistent application of safety protocols across all locations.
• Driver Training: Assist in creating and delivering driver training and onboarding programs to maintain high safety standards.
• Liaison for Compliance: Serve as a point of contact between drivers, management, and regulatory agencies, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
