Part Time Primary location is Tulsa, OK, occasional visits to Bristow, OK Shift: M-F; 8am-12pm Job Summary: Drives hospital vehicles to safely transport persons, supplies and equipment (including loading and unloading). Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Must have a valid Oklahoma driver's license with a good record. Three (3) years record of safe driving without arrest for any vehicle violations, including DUI. Work Experience: 1 - 3 years related experience in driving vehicles up to and including two (2) ton trucks. This experience must be within the last five (5) years. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of Tulsa city streets to provide ability to locate addresses. Ability to perform vehicle preventive maintenance and minor repairs. Ability to drive distances up to 100 miles as needed. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Drives vehicles to transport patients and employees. Drives vehicles to transport supplies, materials, and equipment. Loads and unloads materials and supplies. Drives vehicles to pick-up expedited supplies, using petty cash for payment as appropriate. Cleans and washes vehicles. Performs preventive maintenance on vehicles as scheduled. Performs minor repairs on vehicles as needed. Use of seatbelts required when driving Saint Francis Hospital entity vehicles. As directed, performs other related duties and follows the hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.
