Description
Driver based in Kampot province Role Purpose The driver is employed to provide transportation to staff and visitors to Save the Children to all project operation areas, to deliver mails and goods to the projects/partners and/or other institutions and to keep the vehicle cleaned and in good running order at all times. In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly. Qualifications At least completed high school Essential At least three (3) years working experience as a Driver for a NGO, company, or public service agencies Holding valid official driving license Mechanical knowledge of the vehicle Basic working knowledge of English language Knowledge of the traffic laws and regulations Knowledge district geographic in Kampong Cham province. Able to work under minimal supervision and be proactive and initiative Integrity, to work coupled with enthusiasm, commitment and energy. Desirable Ability to work under pressure, both independently as well as part of the team Willing to travel and stay in the provinces to review and support field activities Willing to work in emergency situation Ability to work long hours under pressure and to meet deadlines Contract length: Unspecified Duration Contract (UDC).
