JOB OVERVIEW

Join our team as a Driver and play a crucial role in our logistics operations. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting our products safely and efficiently to designated locations. If you have experience in commercial driving, and enjoy being on the road delivering goods, we welcome you to apply for this position.

• Loading and unloading their wagon at our Dewsbury and Morley manufacturing plants.
• Supporting the drivers and warehouse supervisors with loading the other trucks.
• Deliver our goods around the UK and deliver excellent customer service.
• Offload goods, and where required, room place in the delivery point, with packaging removed from the product and taken away.
• Communicate effectively with the customer an hour before delivery and report any issues to the planning and customer care department.
• Maintain our high standards and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that the wagon is safe and in good condition every morning before beginning the journey.
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed.
• They will communicate effectively with the Transport Manager regarding vehicle maintenance.
  To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license, HGV class 2 license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. A minimum of 2 years’ experience is required.
  The role will require a candidate who is prepared to night out 1-3 nights per week. Heavy lifting is required (equipment is provided).
  Standard hours are 43.25 based on Mon to Thu – 7.45am – 5pm and Fri 7.45am – 4.30pm with 30 min lunch break.
