Description The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of castings and supplies to and from outside processors and vendors. This position operates company vehicles on local routes and supports plant operations through material handling, equipment operation, and on-demand transportation needs. Requirements · Knowledge of safe driving practices and DOT safety standards. · Ability to operate a stake body truck, pickup truck, forklift, and pallet jack safely and efficiently. · Basic problem-solving skills to handle routine transportation or equipment issues. · Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, co-workers, and suppliers. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Attention to detail to ensure proper handling of materials and compliance with company policies.
