We’re looking for skilled Spokerun/HR Drivers to help support and deliver all General Freight to Defence customers in a high professional manner. Based at Robertson Barracks in Holtz Northern Territory you’ll act as a critical bridge supporting both warehouse & transport in delivering freight in and around NT as required, assisting with loading vehicles and some assistance within the warehouse of picking/preparing freight for dispatch within the Defence and contractual obligations. How you’ll make the right impact As a Spokerun/HR Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Defence logistics operations run efficiently and in line with contract expectations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will: Ensuring the safe delivery of consignments with no damage Load your vehicle and restrain your load each day Complete safety vehicle checks Use of scanner and or complete paperwork when necessary Actively participate and attend safety and toolbox meetings Actively participate in incident investigations Comply with all legislated road laws and regulations, including both private and public networks Conduct all tasks within a customers’ site or in public arena with professionalism What you’ll bring We’re looking for motivated professionals who bring: Ability to work both autonomously and in a close team environment Provide flexibility for the various distribution tasks required Ability to interact with a diverse team at all levels of the organisation’s hierarchy Interpersonal awareness Ability to problem solve Openness and integrity Strong customer focus Ability to interpret and follow work procedures and instructions Eligibility to make the grade To apply for this role, you must: Be an Australian Citizen.
