Salary: £25,584 - £25,992 per annum

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

Cumberland Council is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Driver Technician to support our Community Equipment Service. In this hands-on role, you’ll be delivering, fitting, and demonstrating essential equipment to help people live independently in their own homes across Cumbria. You’ll also collect and return equipment for refurbishment, ensuring everything is handled with care and respect.
We’re seeking someone with a full UK driving licence (minimum one year’s experience), good communication skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service—ideally with experience in a care-related setting. You’ll need to be physically fit, comfortable working independently, and ready to travel extensively across the region. This role is available on a permanent basis.
