Driving instructors play a critical role in this environment by safely training new vehicle operators, helping them build the foundational skills required to become capable autonomous drivers. Instructors typically train for 6–8 hours per day, tailoring their approach to meet different learning styles while working collaboratively to ensure consistency across the training program.
Instructors must be able to deliver clear, professional feedback while maintaining the team’s high standards of accountability and conduct. Evaluating a new operator’s driving requires a high level of professionalism and responsibility, especially when providing critique. Above all, safety is our number one priority, and instructors are expected to reinforce and model this commitment in every aspect of their role.
