DRIVE PERFORMANCE, SHAPE SAFETY, DELIVER POLICE DRIVER TRAINING ACROSS ALL LEVELS

As a Police Driver Trainer, you will train police officers and support staff in the theory and practice of basic, standard and advanced driving. Working within the Team Leicestershire Academy, you will deliver training, provide performance feedback and create a motivational learning environment.
You’ll be delivering pursuit and VIP/ defensive driving training courses, providing off and on road scenarios including practical demonstrations.

• You’ll be using a variety of theoretical and practical teaching methods to help improve driving abilities.
• Delivering classrooms theory sessions and assess students regarding policing fast roads and scene management.
• Teach people to drive a variety of vehicles to Leicestershire Police basic, standard and advanced driving.
