OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Driver Trainer & Recruitment Specialist, working closely with our Driver Manager to build and maintain a strong and capable driver team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Experience in driver training, recruitment, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective training programs.
- A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a hands-on approach to responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Driver Training & Development:
- Conduct frequent new driver training sessions to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Design, maintain, and update comprehensive driver training and refresher courses.
- Monitor and evaluate driver performance post-training, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Source, screen, and recruit drivers through various channels to meet operational needs.
- Lead the onboarding process, ensuring drivers are well-prepared and informed of company expectations.
- Driver Compliance & Support:
- Manage driver contracts and maintain accurate documentation in coordination with the Driver Manager.
- Support drivers with any queries related to contracts, training, or compliance.
- Collaboration with Driver Manager:
- Work closely with the Driver Manager to align recruitment and training strategies with operational goals.
- Provide input on driver performance to support effective management and development.
- Ad Hoc Driving Duties:
- Perform Trade Plate Driving or Chase Driving as required, ensuring flexibility and support for operational needs.
