EDUCATION:
Education or equivalent – High school, College.
EXPERIENCE (EMEAA):
Previous experience as an HGV Driver Trainer/Assessor, Driver and Training and Assessment Related qualifications are essential (ADI, RTITB, RHA, SAFED and/or equivalent).
Train the Trainer Qualification/Assessor Qualifications/JAUPT approved training assessor.
CPC Qualification and full UK HGV C+E Driving Licence.
Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
You must provide evidence of previous driver training experience at a strategic and operational fleet level within an organisation with a large (500 +) fleet of vehicles (HGV, Trailers & Vans).
Develop and assist fleet operations for the UK in cooperation with Fleet Engineering & Fleet Safety Teams. Collaborate with the UK Operations & UK National Fleet Manager UK & IE to implement the strategic plan and deliver a fleet driver training and development strategy. To implement and roll out a driver training and development package across the UK operational fleets, reduction of fleet/driver related incidents.
Key functions of this role are the ongoing development and training of our drivers across our 500 diverse vehicle fleet, with vehicles ranging from 3.5t vans to Class 1 HGV. Using data received from telematics, incident investigations & requests from individual depots, train and develop our drivers to the highest standards for driving and road safety.
This position may require working with other driver trainers & the development and supervision of the companies locally based Driver Assessors.
