Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To carry out collection and delivery of customers vehicles, dealing with customers in a professional manner, ensuring high standards of customer service. To clean cars to a standard that reinforces the customers feeling that they have received first class service.

MAIN TASKS

  • Carry out collection and delivery of customers vehicles as scheduled, completing all relevant paperwork with the customer, ensuring that the customer is treated in a professional and efficient manner.
  • To drive vehicles in a safe, lawful manner considering the weather and traffic conditions, reporting all faults with vehicles driven.
  • Ensure all documentation is correct when transferring vehicles.
  • Report any accidents, incidents to your Team Leader without delay.
  • Comply fully with health and safety legislation, e.g. driving whilst under the influence of sleep-inducing medication, driving vehicles for which you are not insured or trained.
  • Maintain a high level of customer care/satisfaction.
  • To be aware of and adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies applicable to your position or environment.
  • To be responsible for the collection of payments and receipts and to ensure the correct banking procedures are followed on return to the office.
  • Wash, vacuum, clean and polish all cars using the approved materials and equipment to present the vehicles to the customer in accordance with company standards.
  • Carry out overall presentation checks, and cleanliness of the repaired vehicle.
  • Be aware of and adhere to any health and safety policies and procedures that apply to the work area and particularly in connection with the chemicals, fluids and cleaning agents used in the cleaning process.
  • Keep the car park always tidy.
  • Liaise with reception to ensure courtesy cars are cleaned and checked out ready for collection by the customer.

OTHER DUTIES

Due to the size and complexity of the establishments you will undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability, as directed by a senior manager to whom you have a reporting relationship.

A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE IS ESSENTIAL.

Our core business hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
