DRIVER/WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

We are looking for a Driver/Warehouse Assistant to work at our Lincoln branch. Pochin are a Midlands based plumbers’ merchant operating 32 trade branches and 9 bathroom showrooms.
Place of work: Unit 5, Ironestone Close, Bishops Trade Park, Lincoln, LN2 4TF

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Picking and collating orders for delivery
  • Using our computer system to process delivery notes and print picking lists
  • Delivering goods within the local and surrounding areas
  • Liaising with suppliers for support and technical queries where required
  • Welcoming and assisting both trade customers and the public
  • Following up with customers and maintain customer relations

This role would be mostly spent delivering in the van, with some time spent in branch, the working hours would be 7.30 – 5.00pm with an hours lunch, Monday - Friday. Saturdays are on a rota and are 8am-12pm.

Requirements

  • Full UK Manual driving license
  • Van Driving experience is essential
  • IT skills / computer literate ( Training will be given )
  • Communicational skills
  • Good organisation skills, able to manage time efficiently
  • Be a motivated and committed individual
  • Previous experience working in a merchant is desirable (plumbing, building, electrical)
