Description

Duties and Responsibilities: * Daily loading and unloading of products. * Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers. * Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise. * Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy. * Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed. * Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager. * Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns. * Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device. * Assist with physical inventory and inventory control. * Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped. * Provide excellent customer service to external customers. * Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic. •Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties. * Wear appropriate PPE. * Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications * Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck, or stake bed truck. •Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines. * Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics. * Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service. * A willingness to learn and grow with our Company. * Must be 21 years of age or older. * Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Preferred Qualifications * CDL Class B license preferred (except when required in certain states) * 6 months of Warehouse experience including forklift operation. * Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. * Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus. * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. This position may require working extra hours on occasion.
