Job Description Crossroads C&I in Ottawa Ontario is currently hiring a Driver/Warehouse Associate to load, unload, receive, store, and distribute inventory. Our Warehouse team members play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. Why work for Crossroads C&I? • Growth Opportunities • Competitive Pay • Medical and Dental Benefits • Paid Time Off • RSP with company match Do you have what it takes? • Salary $21 hr. • Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally • Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack. • Cycle count inventory, storing in orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision. • Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage. • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks. • Excellent customer service skills-our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers. • Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software. • Shift schedule 6:30 am to 3:00pm start. • Assist in the warehouse when needed. • Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned. Your Qualifications • Minimum of 18 years of age. • Valid driver’s license. • Minimum of 2 year of verifiable commercial driving experience • Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Abstract. • Compute basic math problems. • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment. • Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.
