Description Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections Perform all position requirements safely, following all required safety policies and procedures Retain maintenance records, daily logs, and truck inspection records Keep appearance of assigned truck clean, inside, and out Provide an exceptional level of customer service to all internal and external customers Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications to find delivery locations Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule Exceptional communication and people skills to interact with clients Drivers are responsible for transporting to and from clients and handling deliveries in a timely manner, and they may have to work nights and weekends to accomplish their duties. Keep mileage records and repair records up to date Requirements Clean driving record: MVR, PSP, Clearinghouse Must be able to pass a medical examination for DOT medical card Minimum of 1 year driving a commercial DOT regulated vehicle, hauling heavy and light rental equipment and a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience to perform the job safely Experience loading, securing, and unloading heavy and light equipment Knowledge of DOT regulations Familiarity with DOT logbook and e-logs Experience operating heavy equipment Arrive at destinations on schedule Must be available to work nights and weekends
