Position Summary A CDL Class A Driver is responsible for safely operating a vehicle and providing superior customer service to assigned routes. Drivers navigate residential environments, congested roadways, alleyways, and high-traffic areas all while ensuring that their vehicle remains in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company standards. Requirements Responsibilities Drive between 1 hour – 11 hours Handle hand truck with 300-400 lbs. on downhill 14 ft ramp Deliver all products to customer locations Follow safety rules and regulations Leave on time and make deliveries in a timely manner Follow check in procedure using a handheld scanner Keep a clean driving record Management retains the discretion to add or change duties at any time. Education, Experience and Skills Required Class A Driver License is required. Good Driving Record Loading and unloading product High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years Driving Experience Follow Safety rules and regulations. Physical Requirements, Working Conditions, and Travel Requirements Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to push up to 300- 400 pounds. Must be able to pull up to 300 - 400 pounds. Sitting for long periods while driving, general bending and twisting are associated with lifting. Some overnight travel is required within the territory.
