POSITION OVERVIEW

The Drone inspector is responsible for conducting aerial surveys using a drone to inspect telecommunication structures. This role works closely with the Quality Control Manager and reports any anomalies observed in the field. The incumbent must comply with common installation standards and guidelines for aerial structure inspections.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver’s license (Class 5).
  • Advanced Drone Pilot certification.
  • Comfortable working at heights, including vertical and horizontal movement on steel or wood structures.
  • Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety on Construction Sites (ASP Construction).
  • Proficiency with IT equipment and data processing software.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work outside the home region from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Perform aerial surveys using a drone on telecommunication structures and prospective client buildings.
  • Complete detailed inspection reports.
  • Apply outside plant (OSP) principles in accordance with technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Report any detected anomalies to the immediate supervisor.
  • Participate in updates of the technical specifications.
  • Verify and ensure the accuracy of measuring instruments (calibration).
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote an integrated approach.
  • Actively contribute to health and safety, respect, and continuous improvement in the workplace.
  • Perform any other related duties in line with skills and role.
