Description JOB SUMMARY: This position is under the direct supervision of the General Manager or designee and is located at The Stables Casino. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the Count Room such as slot drop pick-up, transferring the slot drop to the Count Room, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Tribal and System Internal Controls, Federal and State laws governing monetary transactions. MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS: Oversees the Drop and Count Team members Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations of the Gaming Commission, as well as company policies, procedures, and controls Ensures the integrity of all Count transactions Assists in slot drop, counting money, and reconciling gaming revenue Prepares various reports, transfers sheets, reconciles totals to the Soft Count Summary report; forwards all information to appropriate departments Maintains all records, reports, and other required paperwork in the Count Room Conducts the necessary procedures to effectively resolve Soft Count disputes Facilitates the flow of information, by organizing and presiding over regularly communicating with all Team Members under their span of control Provides job specific training to all newly hired employees or those assigned to mentor so they may perform their duties in accordance with acceptable job standards OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports Maintains the highest level of confidentiality Performs other tasks and duties as directed This position includes but is not limited to the job functions listed above. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age Must have a High School Diploma or GED Must possess a valid driver’s license Must have one (1) to two (2) years related experience or training (preferred) Must be able to obtain and maintain a Modoc Nation Gaming License May be subject to criminal background investigation Must possess in high integrity regarding confidential and sensitive information Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral Must have the ability to work in fast paced environment, multitask and meet deadlines REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance. Performs all duties in accordance with the gaming operations core values, objectives of the Modoc Nation, system of internal control policies and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act and Privacy Act.
