Job Requirements:

Programming

• Facilitate small group activities
• Recognize differing cultures and provide an atmosphere of acceptance.
• Teach problem solving and conflict resolution in a manner that is age appropriate
• Develop programs and activities that address participant and community needs.

Behavior Management

• Uses listening and conflict resolution skills for positive guidance with both staff and children.
• Organizes mediation or conflict resolution between children/youth when conflict occurs as needed.
• Remains with children/youth at all time or organizes supervision by fellow staff.
• Recognize identity challenges and work with youth to build confidence.

Administration

 Promote and raise public awareness of club programs through media, schools, recreation department, and personal contact

• Other duties as requested or required by Directors Team.
• Position is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Some special times for special programming required.
