POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Drum Teacher / Percussion Instructor to lead an after-school Percussion Club at a primary school located 20 minutes from Reading. This role provides the opportunity to inspire children through rhythm and percussion, helping them develop musical skills, coordination, confidence, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.
The club runs for one hour per week, 3:30pm – 4:30pm, on either Wednesday or Thursday, giving children a weekly chance to explore drumming and percussion techniques.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Experience teaching or leading percussion/drum sessions for children.
  • Ability to engage and motivate children in a structured, fun, and creative way.
  • Strong communication skills in English for interacting with children, parents, and school staff.
  • A background in music education or percussion is highly desirable.

    Pay: £32.00 per hour
