  • SSSTS qualification (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
  • Strong knowledge of drylining and internal construction processes.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience on residential construction projects, ideally with a focus on internal trades.
  • Solid understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing teams of site operatives and subcontractors.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking an experienced Drylining Supervisor to join our team and take responsibility for overseeing the internal construction works on a key residential project in Central London
This role will focus on supervising and coordinating drylining and associated internal trades . The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fit-out supervision with the ability to work both on-the-tools when required and in a leadership capacity to ensure smooth site operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Drylining Supervisor, you will be expected to:

  • Supervise and coordinate site workers and subcontractors across internal trades.
  • Facilitate the timely resolution of technical issues as they arise.
  • Manage internal procurement processes, from equipment/material enquiries through to site delivery, maintaining full audit trails.
  • Attend, contribute to, and document supply chain meetings to monitor progress against the overall construction schedule.
  • Work collaboratively with the design team and supply chain to ensure accurate information is communicated to subcontractors.
  • Track and document on-site progress in line with the construction programme.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Site Manager to ensure smooth execution of the project programme.
  • Assess resource allocation and review progress with the Project Manager.
  • Review and verify that all site operatives have the appropriate training and valid certifications to work on the project.
