Key Responsibilities: Hang, tape, mud, and finish drywall to a professional standard Patch and repair drywall (holes, water damage, texture matching) Match existing textures (orange peel, knockdown, smooth finish, etc.) Prepare surfaces for finishing, including sanding and smoothing Install corner bead and ensure clean, straight edges Protect surrounding areas using plastic, drop cloths, and masking Maintain a clean and organized job site Communicate clearly with customers and team members Ensure jobs are completed on schedule and to company standards Qualifications: Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing Ability to match textures and deliver paint-ready finishes Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable transportation capable of hauling tools and materials Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and clean driving record Excellent customer service and communication skills Must pass a background check Physical Demands: Occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, pull, or move materials Ability to hang and finish drywall overhead and on ladders Climbing stairs and ladders using proper safety measures Bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and standing for extended periods Follow worksite safety and cleanliness protocols Work Environment: Indoor and outdoor job sites depending on project Exposure to dust, cold or hot weather, and humid conditions Moderate noise from tools and equipment
