OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Taper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and restoration, with experience in various aspects of the trade. The Taper will be responsible for finishing drywall and ensuring that surfaces are prepared for painting or other finishes. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in construction, with a focus on tapering or related trades such as plastering, carpentry, or remodeling.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating and project management processes is a plus.
  • Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
  • Experience with various construction techniques including metal stud framing, tile laying, caulking, door hanging, and fixture installation.
  • Knowledge of water damage restoration processes and mold remediation practices is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
