We are seeking a skilled Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and perform caulking tasks. As a Taper, you will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for painting, ensuring high-quality finishes, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in drywall taping and carpentry is essential.
• Strong knowledge of caulking techniques and materials.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately.
• Previous maintenance person experience is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

  Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

• Apply tape and joint compound to drywall seams and corners to create smooth surfaces for painting.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Perform caulking tasks to seal joints and gaps in walls, ceilings, and other structures.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Assist with additional maintenance person tasks as needed throughout the construction process.
