Description

We are seeking a Drywaller in our Northwestern Region. As a Drywaller, you will be responsible for performing paint and drywall for water, fire, wind, and mold repair projects. What You Do * Mix, match and apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes * Scrape, sandpaper, prime and/or seal surfaces prior to painting * Clean walls to ensure proper adherence * Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection * Calculate amounts of required materials * Fill holes, cracks and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking gun or putty knives * Remove fixtures such as pictures, doorknobs, lamps, and electric switch covers prior to painting * Tape off areas when needed * Knowledgeable on masking and working in occupied homes * Apply drywall to walls or ceilings * Prepare panels for painting by taping or finishing joints * Measure, cut, fit, and fasten panels * Read blueprints and designs * Drive to jobs daily * Work overtime as needed * Practice safe and efficient work techniques to minimize potential injuries and hazardous conditions * Participate in safety meetings and inspections * Ensure that material areas are kept neat and orderly * Always maintain acceptable levels of housekeeping with regard to equipment and assigned work area and/or department What You Bring * 2-5 years of verifiable experience * Knowledge of industry tools and how to use and maintain them * Good communication skills, written and verbal * Strong customer service skills * Ability to work both independently and as a team WHY JOIN KUSTOM * A Culture That Wins Together – Teamwork, integrity, and a growth mindset define us * Competitive Comp Program – Weekly base pay plus quarterly commission structure * Total Rewards Benefits – Health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more * Real Career Growth – Training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities to move into roles across the company Who We Are Founded in 1968, Kustom has spent decades earning a stellar reputation as a nationally acclaimed, industry-leading property restoration firm.
