Responsibilities

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic individual with exceptional customer service skills to join our team at the Orange Donor Centre & Donor Mobile Unit. If you’ve got great people skills and a real passion for helping others, we want to hear from you!
You’ll be there for our donors every step of the way, making sure they have a great experience.

Here’s what a typical day might look like:

  • Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability
  • Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
  • Set up machines, various tubing and collection bags
  • Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood and plasma
  • Monitor donors post-donation and assist them to rebook for their next donation
  • Help create an awesome donor experience that keeps them coming back for more!

No prior experience in blood collection is needed, our paid and flexible self-paced training program has a balance between on-the-job practice, and online class schedules to ensure that you are well supported.
