Key responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication administration, transportation, and documentation of progress. DSP Schedule, Location, Pay: Saturday 8am-3pm every other weekend Sunday 8am-3pm every other weekend Location: Arden Hills, MN Rate of Pay $26/hour What We Offer for DSPs: Paid training Paid time off 401K with company matching Health, Dental, Vision Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee Referral Bonus Program- $1,000 Ongoing training and support Meaningful work with real impact Requirements What You Bring as a DSP: Only candidates meeting the rate exception qualifications will be contacted to interview High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of relevant work experience Experience working with challenging behaviors, behavior de-escalation Previous experience working with Autism Driver's License, car insurance, reliable vehicle for work purposes Ability to read, write and speak English at a level that meets the performance requirements; or must be able to communicate in the language spoken by the individual at a level that meets the performance requirements; whichever is deemed more important by the company Ability to meet licensing requirements of the state and county Lifting/transferring requirements vary based on assigned caseload. Ability to lift 75 pounds and transfer individuals as needed May be exposed to animals, including but not limited to dogs, cats, pet rodents, birds or pet reptiles

Responsibilities

Direct Support Professionals assist individuals with daily activities and promote independence. They ensure a safe and supportive environment while documenting progress and administering medication.
