Description Direct Support Professional (DSP) Join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), where you'll help individuals achieve their goals and thrive in their communities. DSP's provide personalized care, promote independence, and ensure a safe, supportive environment. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication administration, transportation, and documentation of progress. Empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives through compassionate support. DSP Schedule, Location, Pay: Sunday 8am-4pm *every other weekend Saturday 8am-4pm *every other weekend Location: Arden Hills, MN Rate of Pay: $23.00/hour What We Offer for DSPs: Paid training Paid time off 401K with company matching Health, Dental, Vision Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee Referral Bonus Program- $1,000 Ongoing training and support Meaningful work with real impact Requirements What You Bring as a DSP: Only qualified applicants meeting the rate exception will be contacted to interview High school diploma or equivalent 2 year's of relevant work experience Experience with challenging behaviors, Autism, and de-escalation Driver's License, car insurance, reliable vehicle for work purposes Ability to read, write and speak English at a level that meets the performance requirements; or must be able to communicate in the language spoken by the individual at a level that meets the performance requirements; whichever is deemed more important by the company Ability to meet licensing requirements of the state and county Lifting/transferring requirements vary based on assigned caseload. Ability to lift 75 pounds and transfer individuals as needed May be exposed to animals, including but not limited to dogs, cats, pet rodents, birds or pet reptiles
